How can I activate my free number for testing with Sinch?

When you create an account on the Sinch Build Dashboard, you are given a free virtual long number and nominal balance for testing. 

To access your free virtual number, do the following:

1. Login to the Sinch Build Dashboard.
    
2. Select Numbers from the left menu and select the Your Virtual Numbers option. The Your virtual numbers page is displayed: 
   
   
   
   Click Activate.
    
3. The Free Test Number dialog is displayed:
   
   
   
   Read the information in this page and click Get free test number.
    
4. You will be returned to the Your virtual numbers page:
   
   
   
   This page shows you details of your free test number which you can use in the 'from' parameter in many of the Sinch APIs.
    
5. Start testing!

• Use your test number in the SMS API using Node.js (be sure to copy the number!)
• Or  Send a Test SMS in our Build Dashboard.

Note that your free virtual number for testing is valid for 14 days.
